One of my favorite part in fashion magazines is photographs of objects of fashion – watches, jewelery, bags, etc., if it’s done in an unusual, creative way. The very best, the most creative object styling I’ve seen were in Russian Esquire magazine. But here, in China I also have found nice examples of styling and object photography. Specialized in Chinese graffiti typeface design and cooperated with a lot of big names like NIKE, MOTOROLA, ABSOLUT, BENETTON, CONVERSE, TIGER BEER, MOLESKINE, CASIO, EVISU, COCA-COLA etc.
Nod Young is Chinese graphic designer and illustrator based in Beijing, co-founder and creative director of Khaki Creative & Design. His works combine modern trends of design with traditional Chinese art.

I like to collect all kinds of visual culture stuff. Here’s a bunch of Chinese advertisements I’ve found on streets of Guangzhou. Some are funny, some are ugly. But definitely it’s something different from Europe or States.
In January I went to Shenzhen and found there an exhibition of GDC, the first global design competition in China, which is held every two years.
